Call for Articles

** As the Symposium Editors for Volume 58 of the Georgia Law Review, it is our pleasure to announce our annual symposium for the Spring of 2024: **“Evolving Landscapes: American Land Use Law & Resiliency.”** This year’s symposium will focus on articles that discuss emerging trends in land use law related to resilient planning; the intersection of zoning, society, and constitutional law; novel environmental regulations; natural disaster planning/mitigation; and other similar topics. The symposium will include panels, roundtable discussions, and a keynote address. The symposium will occur in person at the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia, on **Friday, March 22, 2024**. The Georgia Law Review reimburses all reasonable symposium travel and lodging expenses associated with participation. Authors interesting in participating in the symposium may submit articles through one of the following methods: * If submitting via Scholastica, please follow the standard Scholastica submission process and also include “GLR SYMPOSIUM:” at the beginning of your article title. Please note that articles not complying with our Symposium guidelines will not be reviewed. * If submitting via email, please send our editors a short description of your article’s idea or topic, a brief biographic statement, and any questions about your potential participation. Articles should be between 3,750 and 12,500 words. We may accept topics that do not fit into one of the above-mentioned categories so long as they analyze an overlap between the environment and the law. **Articles will be accepted on a rolling basis until the issue is filled.** We will begin reviewing articles on **October 2, 2023**. If accepted, we require an editable draft by **January 26, 2024**. Thank you for your consideration. We hope you will join us in Athens for this exciting conversation in March 2024. **Braden T.
